Pabuc Burnu coordinates : 36 – 58′ 5N, 27 – 34′E

This is 6 nautical miles from Bodrum. The shape looks like a shoe, thus, it is called Pabuc or Shoe Burnu. The eastern coast of Pabuc Burnu is rocky. The bay looks like a swimming pool, and its emerald green water is very clear. People have started building houses on the West coast of Pabuc Burnu. In the east of the bay, there is a small island named Kistak between Pabuc Burnu and Orak island. Pabuc burnu and Kistak Island are covered with maquis.

When coming from Bodrum, from the West, you must pass pabuc burnu and after turning to the Northwest, anchoring is possible in 4-6 m depth. There aren’t many trees in this bay, but it is clean, beautiful and protected, especially from the Westerlies.
