Langoz Kargilibuk coordinates : 36 – 56′ 1N, 28 – 05′ 8E

This is situated in Kargili burun inlet and 3 nautical miles of Degirmen buku. It is protected from all winds; therefore, it provides, perfect anchorage. It is well worth seeing with its pine trees down to the sea.

Langoz means “a lot of trees” in the Greek language. This place is really covered with pine forests, and trees extend to the shoreline. The sea is not very clear. There are places for visitors to rest and drink coffee by the sea.

There are a few families from Gokova living in Longoz. There is a presidential house at the back of Langoz which was built during the time of Turgut Ozal, the 8 th president of Turkey. Nehind the bay, there is a salt water lake surrounded by pine trees.
