Degirmen buku coordinates : 36 – 55′N, 28 – 10′E

This is the first visiting place for yachts after Sogut harbour when approached from the East. Degirmen buku situated in the South of Zeytinli island, consist of several bays. Camlik, okluk harbour, malderesi harbour and ingiliz harbour are the most important harbours here. ?t offers good shelter for yachts.

The entrance of Degirmen buku is from the West of Zeytinli island. Generally the land is covered with hills and rocks. The forest area between ingiliz harbour and malderesi harbour in the west of the bay burnt a few years ago. This area was then replanted.

?t is quite difficult to pass through koremen islands when approaching from the east, so great care should be taken.
There are several nice bays suitable for anchoring in degirmen buku. The vest bay to anchor is okluk or malderesi gulf on the eastern side. ?t is possible to anchor close to or opposite these quays. Besides this it is als? possible anchor in 5-7 m at the end of the bay. The bottom is mud and there are rock layers at the bottom of the sea. ?ngiliz harbour in the west of the bay is another place to anchor.
