Here there is a castle on top of a high mountain near the coast. This is the famous Apart Castle mentioned in many folk songs. This region is always windly. There is a fresh water spring just behind Aspat Castle. Evliya Celebi mentioned this water in his book of travels. Acording to his book all ships took from this water and it didn’t go bad for one year. You can climb up the castle by stairs and through a pathway from the water spring. There are many remains from different civilisations in the area.
